THIS IS MORE THAN A SUNDAY MORNING POSITION.
We're looking for someone who loves Jesus, people, and music - a gifted worship leader who is excited about building a team, creating authentic worship, developing relationships, and helping us reach people in our community who are not already connected to a church.
Our traditional worship service will continue. This is an opportunity to help us create something new: an additional worshipping community with a contemporary style, welcoming atmosphere and heart for reaching new people.
The person who joins us will have the rare opportunity to help shape this ministry from the beginning.

Objectives •Lead worship – create engaging, Christ-centered worship. •Build community – develop relationships and help people connect and grow. •Reach new people – help us create a welcoming place for those not yet connected. •Make an internal impact – be part of what God is doing in Estero and beyond. Requirements •Musical performance experience, strong musical skills. •A deep and active Christian faith. •A heart for worship and desire to help others experience God's presence. Supervision •The Praise & Worship Leader shall coordinate and work with the Pastor. Worship Leadership •Lead the congregation in worship through music, prayer, and Scripture, fostering an atmosphere of reverence and joy. •Model authentic, humble worship that points to God, rather than performance. •Collaborate with the Pastor and Worship Committee to plan worship services. •Arrange for worship leadership of the contemporary service when away. Music Ministry Coordination •Serve as principal coordinator and leader of the Praise Band. •Schedule and lead weekly rehearsals and the Sunday morning contemporary worship service. •Direct the Praise Band as well as special vocal and instrumental ensembles, as applicable. •Recruit, train, and support Praise Team members (vocalists and instrumentalists). •Select songs and musical offerings for the contemporary service. •Recommend purchases of music and supplies. Collaboration and Administration •Work collaboratively with the other ECC music ministries and participate in combined worship services when appropriate. •Recommend to the Worship Team the annual music budget and supervise expenditures for the contemporary service. •Partner with the Office Manager to: Maintain records for copyright license audits. Maintain presentation software and prepare worship slides. •Coordinate with sound and media volunteers/staff to ensure high-quality sound and projection during worship. •Maintain instruments, sound equipment, and music resources responsibly.
